Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise is a popular American author, performer and actress well known for her portrayal of Ginger Grant in the 1960s television series Gilligan's Island. Her stage work began in the 1950s, with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Then she appeared in several Broadway productions before she became an international star together with Li'l Abner, in the year 1957. The singer also released her debut album, titled It's Time to Tina during the same year. Louise first appeared in Hollywood in the role of Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a film from 1957 that was a dramatic. This film became hugely popular and Louise got the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. In the years prior to this she was a student at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her teacher. She signed on with CBS in 1964 as Ginger Grant. Louise had a successful career in Hollywood and Broadway as a somber character that reflected her reputation as a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. As SG-1, and in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although over the past few years, she has also made an impact as a director who has been successful in several well-known television series such as Supernatural as well as The 100. Her family relocated out of Essex to Toronto in the year she was born, and there she resided for growing up and in adolescence. After being chosen in 1997 for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living in Vancouver ever since.
