Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actress, activist for animals and a writer, who has won numerous Awards. Her movies are Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). The Getaway was released in 1972. New York, she was born into an creative family. She started as a photography assistant and later moved into acting and modeling. Her first two movies her name was acknowledged and won the Golden Globe Award as Most Popular Young Actress. MacGraw became an international star after her 1970 movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. The film was recognized as the most successful female box-office star of the world after only three releases. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater engraved her autograph, hand-prints and foot prints in the year 1972. She has starred in several other films including The Getaway Convoy Players and TV miniseries The Winds of War among others. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw is married three times.
